FOREIGN NATIONALS/PIO'S
Definition:
Foreign Nationals—Citizens of all countries other than India,who are not of Indian origin as defined under PIO given below:
Persons of Indian Origin(PIO)
Persons who are citizen of other countries (except Bangladesh and Pakistan) who at any time held an Indian Passport, or who or either of his parents or any of his grand parents was a citizen of India by virtue of the provisions of the constitution of India or section 2(b) of citizenship Act,1955(Act no. 57 of 1955)
Eligiblity:
Foreign Nationals/PIOs quota seats shall be filled from Foreign Nationals/PIO's who
Have passed the qualifying examination with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics which is considered equivalent to (10+2) examination by the Association of Indian Universities.
OR
They possess valid Sat-II score with Maths level II C,Physics and Chemistry.
Their relative merit shall be decided based on their SAT-II score.
Foreign Nationals/PIO's should submit a copy of passport or equivalent evidence for their Nationality.
For KASHMIRI MIGRANTS
Direct admission to Kashmiri Migrants may be made as per latest Govt. orders. A separate notice required,shall be issued in this respect.
